Singer David Keith Jones created backing tracks for his vocals which helped gain a million hits for his videos on You Tube by 2011. He ranges from opera and lieder to traditional, popular and jazz. David began as a chorister in Wales then played in a band. After voice training at university in England he later resumed musical study and was coached by Gerald Davies, former principal tenor at Sadlers Wells. An early stage role for David was as Jack Worthing in Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of being Earnest'. After further study and experience he founded an opera group in St Albans. Guest roles with diverse companies included Don Jose, Rodolfo & Alfredo, also in oratorio as Elgar's Gerontius and Aykbourn's play as Gosforth. Ivor Novello (1893-1951) was a classically trained Welsh composer of London and Broadway musicals. He was an early movie star and for a time outshone his friend Noel Coward. Novello also wrote the lyrics for some of his own delightful songs, here well served by David's full theatrical renditions.
