Album Notes

I am a songwriter based in Palm Springs, Ca. 110 miles East of L.A. I moved here from L.A. I am originally from Chicago. I have been writing songs for 29 years now. I am musically taught at guitar and can play any style of electric and acoustic. I love the songwriting process and now write songs using my computer. I love the 70's rock of bands like Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Journey, Van Halen and the country sounds of Faith Hill, Alan Jackson and Lee Ann Womack. I also like outspoken political bands like the Dixie Chicks and Neil Young. This C.D. is titled After 9-11 Beyond The Shadows. In the line up of the songs listed here are the different effects and emotions which 9-11 has planted into us. The songs paint a journey into a world of confusion, estrangement, isolation, fear and remorse to a world of hope, comfort, happiness, peace, love and harmony. The songs are a mix of country, folk, americana, and rock. I wanted to achieve a sense of shaking our heavy burdens from our backs and celebrating life again!! Let's take this song journey together.
