Album Notes

David's musical tastes were weaned on the new wave and pop that made the 80s so colorful. Bands like Erasure, Thompson Twins, Eurythmics, Dead or Alive and Depeche Mode set the young performer's heart on fire.

After his first CD production in 1998 David met fellow artist Kendall and fell in love with his pop-savvy production. David held on to Kendall's "So Unreal" and "Dagnabbit" and set out to remake these pop gems with his musical fingerprint. Striving to find the right mix of talent, David found his dream producers; the Super Buddha team; Barb Morrison and Charles Nieland who have scored the pilot for "The L Word" and produced for pop icons the Scissor Sisters, Rufus Wainwright and Blondie's own Debbie Harry. Assembling a team of remix producers, the CD single for "So Unreal" was born taking Kendall's pop masterpiece to the next level. The CD contains 4 great remixes of "So Unreal" plus David's original song "Tranny Hooker" that was co-written by the Super Buddha team.

"So Unreal" is simply a fantastic song. The lyrics are emotional, the vocals are heartfelt, and the music is catchy. It's serious music for serious music lovers, and it will turn wherever you're standing into a dancefloor.
