The music of singer/songwriter David Molinari incorporates elements of folk, rock, jazz, and blues, attesting to Dave's diverse musical background. His powerful lyrics reflect a profound insight into life's journey at both an emotional and spiritual level.

Dave's compositions are further enhanced by the talented band that appears on this CD – the same band with which Dave has performed these songs for the past several years. As such, "Whispering To a Crowd" captures all the energy and nuance of a fully ripened musical statement.

Mark Lundell is the bassist and also handles the lion's share of the background vocals. Eddie Eicher is the band's drummer as well as contributing some vocal harmonies. Mark Turner and Mark Huizenga split the lead guitar responsibilities in addition to providing some background vocals. And Dave himself is a multi-instrumentalist (piano, organ, guitars, dobro, harmonica, you name it) which further expands the musical palette.

Yet in spite of this eclectic mix, "Whispering To a Crowd" presents a surprisingly well-integrated musical statement, taking the listener on a unique journey through the joys, the sorrows, and the underlying sacredness of life.
