Album Notes

While much modern "praise" service music employs nearly one style of folk-like pop-rock tunes, Propis presents varied styles of music crafted for worshipper and listener alike, inviting participation and inspiration simultaneously. Here are over a dozen gems - classic texts dressed afresh in joyous, appealing, dramatic and moving music - music which speaks commercially as well as prayerfully. His many collaborations with Finkelstein featuring new classics like "L'dor Vador and "V'al Kulam" are synonymous with a new direction for synagogue music in the 21st Century. Joining Propis on this album are the composer himself, cantorial artist Hazzan Alisa Pomerantz -Boro and his gifted daughter Dena Propis. The four have signed on to present an album of exquisite beauty and delight.
