Album Notes

A while back, I lost both of my parents within the time span of two months. I closed my home studio to the public and began writing. The music on this album contains all the emotions and soul searching that I dealt with at the time. Some of it is very melancholy (March of Souls and Oklahoma City). But some of it (surprisingly) is quite uplifting and happy (Hilary’s Dream and A Better Place). When you begin peeling away the layers of life’s experiences, you never know what you’ll find. For me, the important thing was the journey. The creative process, once begun, always seems to take us places where we never thought we would wind up. I know that is what happened to me. Come along, if you will, on a journey through my music, that I know will move you more than my words could ever hope to.
