TELL THE STORY is a collection of 15 piano solos composed, performed and recorded by Jo Davidson.
Moody, melodic and thought provoking, Tell The Story is a journey which centers around a poem about Paris.
Jo's style has been compared to Erik Satie as well as the soundtrack from the movie The Piano, and even to touches of Chopin.
This album is dedicated to the memory of her piano teacher.

Breathtaking, beautiful
author: Vance P. Frickey
The music in this CD is as evocative and compelling as any
piano work I have ever heard. I think the analogy between
what Jo Davidson has done here and the work of Erik Satie
is very apt... her piano music entices the listener to
follow Jo on her journey through Paris, to almost see and
smell and touch what was there for her. If we are very,
very lucky, Jo Davidson's enormous talent will be recognized
and put to good use... were I filming a romance or drama,
she would be a natural choice for music that would enthrall
the viewer. Great things lie in store for this fine artist.

I haven't written many reviews but I wanted to say how beautiful this is. Thank you, Jo Davidson! Yes, it feels like a trip to Paris, although I have never been there, but it's what I'd like Paris to be like.
