I learned to play music from my father, a private music teacher; learning to Sing at age 6, Guitar at age 10, Pedal Steel Guitar at age 13, Bass and Banjo at 14, and later added Dobro, Piano, and Mandolin...

As a side musician, I have performed with Shania Twain, and have been touring with Jo Dee Messina for 5 years. In that time, I also performed with Billy Yates, Mammoth Jack, Ken Mellons, Becky Hobbs, and Danielle Peck.

Performing on my own, I have opened for country acts such as: Pam Tillis, Steve Wariner, Diamond Rio, Trace Adkins, and Bryan White.

While pursuing my musical career, I moved to Nashville from Ohio in 1998, and have worked as a studio engineer and producer - co-producing Aaron Montlary's debut CD in 2007.
