“Dance On The Moon” cuts a swath through the heart of Americana. The opening blast of acoustic guitars in “Pirate Dance” clears a path for the orchestral electrics that sing in harmony over the chorus. Shifting gears into a deadly reggae groove,“Make It Last” suggests a bruised optimism that finds release in it’s wah wah outro. Country, R&B, reflective ballads, and hook driven rock round out this impressive solo release by Connecticut’s Dave Webster, a veteran of the music wars for over forty years. Drawing from his experience, Webster weaves a rich tapestry of guitar fire, great tunes, and smooth vocals in a tasty American music gumbo.

Great CD!!!
author: Richard Esper
David Webster's' "Dance On The Moon" is a fantastic CD! It has become the most played disc in my collection. The guitar play from Dave is simply spectacular and the musicians accompanying him are masterful at their trade and help bring it all together. From the instrumentals that start and finish the disc, to the rock-n-roll riffs of "What Do You Believe?", you'll want to listen again and again. The lyrics are wonderfully written from "Dance On The Moon" to the stories like "Nora Lee". Buy this CD and give it a listen and the next release from David Webster will not come soon enough!
