Album Notes

I've been making "beyond the fringe" music now for almost 30 years. My feeling is that I'm getting closer and closer to that ineffable dream of finding that magic key that will get me out somewhere beyond the limits of my immediate cultural horizon, which like an omnipotent vacuum-monster, assimilates everything that can aid and abet its program of spiritual levelling. I stand upon the highest hill to catch glimpses of challenging worlds arising out of the realization that the forces animating both our inner and outer realities are far stranger and more amazing than we like to think. To chart this world I extract from science certain rather startling premises and take them far afield, far from the scientism that threatens to destroy us all. I place them at the service of art in an attempt to leapfrog out of the pit of habit and illusion into a place where there is more light.
