ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
DaVinci is a new artist to be reckoned with. "Believe" is his dedication to combining his main influences of TREX , David Bowie and John Lennon. Integrating the Dance and Alternative scene together. DaVinci arrived in Los Angeles wanting to change the landscape of Alternative music. It has been truly a unique journey for this Eastern base born musician. Who decided in the Summer of 2002 to make a record on his own. With the help of friend of Josh Blake on track number 4 which was influenced by STP.
Others have influenced this artist while being based in Los Angeles. One of them is of course Julian Lennon. And VINX who he met in 1993 while at a party. Also an artist of supreme talent by the name of Kevin Gilbert. Who co wrote songs with Cheryl Crow that won him a grammy.
DaVinci''s first recordings were done at this place called Mad Dog Studios in Venice Ca. And then somehow found his way in well known studios such as A&M Recording Studios. The Record Plant and Westlake Studios. After many demos DaVinci was introduced to a Producer;/Artist named John Jones who had finished working on a comeback record for Duran Duran including producing a song called "Come on done". John has helped DaVinci in bringing his music to its maturity. He helped prompt DaVinci to post his music on CdBaby.
Certainly an artist wants full creative control for his records. DaVinci made a decision on that mission with BELIEVE. It was through a book that truly made him decide that this was the time to share the gift that had generously given to him. "Believe" is a combinaton of the old with the new. Mastered by John Jones and recorded at his in house studio. It was a labor of love that created all these 10 compositions.

daVinci - lead vocals, guitars. bass and keyboards and drum programs
Clay Kyle- Bass
Josh Blake - guitar on track 4

This is great music!
I love it! I love the texture of it. Very cool. I'm a big U2 fan, and it had a flavor that reminds me of them, which I love. The musicality strikes me as complex and intelligent, and yet it feels light and spirited with just enough of a foot in good old fashion Rock.

I really enjoyed it. I'm a fan now.

BOTHAM

BOTHAM H.D. Productions was selected to make DaVinci's music video of the first song on the Believe c.d. titled "Beside You". The video captures a feel of days gone-bye. This dated Sixty's period was a time we both had experenced. "English Rock" influence, right down the the contasty Back & White/ "Hard Days Night" is where this video takes you. We at Botham H.D. Productions were honored to be the ones to make this piece and are looking forward to working again. The music has a great flow to it...thus it is easy to put a visual!
