Love the home demo feel. Still good guitar and fantastic vocals. Proves that great songs and good performances are better than crap with billion dollar budgets.

A new Jimmy Davis album always excites me because of something that sets him apart from a lot of artists who have in the music business for decades. He is consistently writing great material. No filler on his albums just quality tunes over and over. I have enJoyed all of his music starting with Kick the wall in the eighties, through the Riverbluff Clan years, and now his solo work. once again The Blue album delivers thought provoking songs that tell a story, or carry you to a familiar place in time where you can share his joy in writing, and playing excellent songs. I wait anxiously for the next installment in his growing body of work.
