Album Notes

The compositions on "Places" are cinematic soundscapes featuring piano, synthesizer, guitar, exotic world percussion and a rooster.

Mike Davis brings a freshness and vitality to all his musical endeavors. One person expressed, "Mike is a gifted and versatile musician and his passion for music is a joy to watch." He blends the influences of rock 'n' roll, soul, jazz, prog rock, and big screen scores with his own heartfelt and exuberant style to play music that rocks the spirit!

A native of Florida who still calls the Sunshine State home, Mike has played at the various theme parks and convention centers in Central Florida for over twenty five years. In May 2009 he had the honor of playing solo piano at Kennedy Space Center for the astronauts of the shuttle "Atlantis." Mike balances his live performances with studio and arranging projects for himself and other artists. He is arranger and music director for soul music legend Johnny Thunder. Recent studio projects include songbook arrangements for Elaine Silver and New Age singer Kirtana.

Mike has been music director for several New Thought churches for the past
fifteen years. He has shared the platform with many luminous artists including
Daniel Nahmod, Faith Rivera, Karen Taylor-Good, David Roth, Jana Stanfield, the
duo Devotion, and Jonn Serrie, a composer from the movie "What the Bleep Do
We Know!?"

Committed to helping raise consciousness and prosperity for all, Mike is adventuring out as a guest artist and speaker. His latest CD, "The Blue Moment," has been well received by every one who has heard it, with its music to soothe the spirit.
