Album Notes

Caricatures - The faces we put on and the character traits they reflect do not always show who we really are inside.

The Obvious - Redemption, trust and hard lessons learned.

Carry Me Home - Sometimes we are in need. Sometimes we all need help. Don't forget to lend a hand where you can when not in need.

Give and Take - There are breaking points in life after much has been given but nothing returned. Lines that are hard but sometimes necessary to draw.

Kidney Stone - People are a lot of times self-destructive. It's always great to see someone change for the better.

Shattered Dreams - A great cover song by a great band. Now it's your turn to figure the rest out.

Monkey Do - We all get involved in our own rituals and routines. We often don't realize it. Make sure to check yourself to prevent boredom and lifelessness.

Short on a Dime - It seems like we are always a day late and a dollar short

Sound of Goodbye - Things come to an end sometimes. Sometimes things end because someone gives up.

Four Days - Sleeplessness, insomnia and life when everything seems blurred and confusing.

Long awated softmore release

I have been following this band for a few years now and this album was a little late but after hearing it the wait was worth it. I love the journey the tracks take you on. A couple of my faves are Caricatures and Give and Take. Just shows the diversity of the band and the singers vocals. I also cant forget the amazing remake of Shattered Dreams. This one has been added to my rotation along with Karnivool and Dead Letter Circus. Great job guys. Can't wait to see a show again.

Best rock album I've heard in decades. Really.

DOZ aren't messing around -- they play music that seamlessly blends smart, honest lyrics, gorgeous melodies, and fiendishly technical parts with both fury and precision, and that's just as good as it gets. I've been on fire for this album's material since the first note I heard of it, and it's still in my daily playlist, where it shall remain indefinitely. If you dig your heavy modern rock with a prog brain and a melodic heart, do yourself (and any friends who know the difference) a favor and latch onto this record ASAP.
