Winter Fun!
author: Tito Uquillas
It doesn’t matter what your faith is as the winter holidays always inspire love for friends and family. This album kicks things off with the inspirational “Starlight” and then continues to inspire and amuse as it progresses. Sure, there are great covers here but it’s the originals that’ll make you want to buy the album. Check out “She Just Doesn’t Get It” for a hook-filled humorous slice of family life. Still not sure whether to purchase the album? Play the wacky cover of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” for any kid and see what happens…

A Holiday CD for the entire family
author: Rice B. and the RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team
It’s a veritable cliché to extol the virtues of a children’s album by declaring that it will appeal to parents no less than their kids. Nevertheless, such a declaration most definitely applies to the new holiday CD, “…and a Happy New Year.” Danny Adlerman, Kevin Kammeraad, and Yosi, acclaimed children’s artists on their own, have combined forces for a mix of original and traditional Holiday songs that are pure pop-rock fun. Humor and great melodies abound, with terrific and inventive re-workings of such chestnuts as “Frosty the Snowman” and “Deck the Halls,” while originals and less-exposed songs like CD-opener “Starlight,” “I Have a Little Dreidle” and “Christmas on the Block” - with an organ riff reminiscent of ‘60’s Dylan, provides noteworthy evidence of serious musicianship. Indeed, this 13-song collection probably won’t compete with traditional holiday albums because it is so original and completely endearing. A CD young children will certainly laugh and sing-along with, “…and a Happy New Year” will more than satisfy parents as well.

I *LOVE* this album
author: Michael Last
"She Just Doesn't Get It" and "A Pickle for my Christmas Tree" are catchy, brilliant, and hysterical. (I am particularly enamored of the asides in Pickle..."Why? I don't know why?".)
I also am partial to the Tom Lehrer remake of Santa Monica, but even if you don't know some of the classics they cover, this album is more than worth the price for the original material.
If I could replace the holiday music in stores, over the radio, on the street, etc. with nothing but this album for the month of December I would be a very very happy man.
Try the previews for "A Pickle for my Christmas Tree" and "She Just Doesn't Get It" and I guarantee your next click will be on the "Buy Now" button.
