This band knows how to write in the rock genre to offer the many sides that the band has musically.  You'll hear the  influences from The Beatles for the lyrics but the soulfull singing belongs to Chris...there's no one else that has a voice like his; melodic and incredably ranged.  This trio has the stampings of CCR and The Heartbreakers mixed with the full out rock energy of The Tragically Hip.  Could you want more?  Highly recommeded.
