Album Notes

I am Delta Burnett Reed, a grandmother who wanted to connect with her grandchildren in a different way. I decided to sing for them so they could find their way into dreamland. Gradually, people heard my CD and recently many more have been asking for it. It is very exciting. I have decided to share my music with the world.
I have been singing all my life in church choirs. They have been instrumental in giving me the power to go beyond and out into the main stream of music.
Everyone who has heard my CD of ‘Songs for My Loveys’ has loved it. It seems to find its way to baby showers. Or to any one who wants to have some quiet time.
My album also includes my very gifted daughter, Erin Reed Ferenbaugh, who wrote the lyrics and performed ‘The Aris song’ for her oldest niece and ‘The moon &-sun’ a tragic love story.
We both recorded our own harmonies which proved to be both a challenge and a joy, as neither of us had done harmonies before.
I loved the challenge this CD had in store for me, it opened my eyes to the possibilities. I would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, I have already started on the second one, please keep an eye out for it. I think many will like it as well.
