D Cinn, a Memphis, TN native, is here to bring you his newest mixtape "Tha Promotion: Da Memphis Way". D Cinn is the founder of South Town Entertainment. He came up with the label while sitting in class as a 7th grader. While in his middle and high school days, D Cinn would often write rhymes in his spare class time. After numerous songs written with no audio to back them, D Cinn decided in 2002 to release his first underground mixtape "Underground Soundz". After the release many people saw D Cinn as young potential.
After an audition for a school talent show, D Cinn was motivated to release his second mixtape "Puttin It Down 4 Da UndaGround Niggaz 2003". Two mixtape releases didn't stop D Cinn from writing and recording new material. D Cinn was on a constant grind. He began releasing compilation mixtapes with songs that didn't appear on previously released material. "The Lost Tapes of 2003" was one of them.
In 2005, D Cinn released another mixtape, this time with a group, South Squad. South Squad is D Cinn, TLT and Big City. The group released their mixtape "Da M-Town Project". This was the biggest release under South Town Entertainment. South Squad pushed 1,000 copies on the streets of Memphis. While grinding "Da M-Town Project", D Cinn decided to release another solo mixtape. This time he would name it "Tha Promotion: Da Memphis Way". Out of all his mixtape releases, D Cinn calls this project his first official mixtape because it features an actual DJ on it(DJ Lil' One) and that's how mixtapes should be. In conclusion, D Cinn brings you his newest project "Tha Promotion: Da Memphis Way". He plans to push thousands of copies on the streets of Memphis. Only time will tell. Expect D Cinn to succeed in 2006!
