Bret Truchan is the enigmatic solo artist behind d.compose (formerly known as clone45a-6). This album offers the very best of his creations over about four years of obsessive work. Each song is amazingly complex, yet perfectly listenable and in fact enjoyable even to many who normally find noise impalatable.
No song is pure noise; film / live samples, little melodies, atmospheric vocal manipulations, and titillating IDM-style drums strongly enhance the interest level of the album. It can be listened to at any intellectual level -- it works as background music or a piece to be studied.

Music from another world
author: Eric

If you have a very very open mind, if you are interested in expanding your musical perceptions far beyond the conventional, and if you (like me) have a hunger to hear things you have never heard before, I recommend this CD to you.

EXCELLENT
author: Socrates G Katsivelis
This is what NOISE music is all about. It is like a painting that includes cultures from around the world and
uses different colors to describe it. By the end, it is no doubt a MASTER PIECE. It is just that simple !
EXCELLENT work. Hope to see more projects from "d.compose" ...

Electricity down your spine.
author: BARIN
Impeccably executed, listenable noise music. So little in this whole noise/industrial genre is actually worth hearing these days. This CD is the exception that will probably prove the general rule to you, because it's a long, involuntary spinal experience. Like when you put your cheek on the hoover when you were a kid. AAA+
