"It Was You" Classy R&B and Reggae accented dance-pop music from an artist who reflects the influences of Jimmy Cliff, George Michael and Terence Trent D'arby. Dean Crawford, a Jamaican born Canadian who they say looks like Snoop Doggy Dog, but his music and image are a total contrast. His self-arranged/produced debut offers radio 12 original, highly catchy songs, including the infectious single (It Was You) and the superb experimental track (You Simply Turn Me On). Dean Crawford is the founder of Deroyco Records Canada. He is also a professional drummer who plays drums on occasion for the writer John Ellison of the hit song "She's Some Kind of Wonderful".
