Album Notes

"The Darko Effect"
Yeah that's right ya'll, NSD has released the long
awaited debut album by Donnie Darko "The Darko
Effect". 16 Tracks of some of the hottest work done by
Never So Deep/Suicide Kingz Productions. I don't know
which is better, the lyrics, flow, or the production.
The whole album is REAL Hip-Hop at its finest! The
track "My Life" has #1 single written all over it. A
song that talks about the everyday hardships people go
through in life. Marcus Allen brings a Hip Hop R&B
flavor to the track with incredible vocals, and Donnie
Darko makes it an undeniable hit with his rhymes and
flow. Donnie Darko brings his street experience into
play with two bangers "Block Game" and "Gangsta"
(featuring DJ Bless). "Block Game" another Heat
Seeking Single puts the listener on the Block with
smooth delivery and clever word play. On the track
"Gangsta", Donnie Darko delivers the type of verse
that will shut the club down, while DJ Bless backs him
up with his hardcore grimey vocals. For those Hip Hop
heads that are strictly into underground tracks,
checkout "Boon Doc Saints" featuring Logic and Swan
the Truth (from Agency 1.9.9.4). This shit is pure
underground. Logic makes his first appearance with NSD
on this track, and has made an impression without a
doubt. As always Swan brings you some of the
incredible Agency 1.9.9.4 rhyme skills. Then there is
the track "Devils Bastard Part 2" featuring Young
Vadah, straight from the Streetz of South Jamaica,
Queens. Vadah brings a flow and a story that MC's
from South Jamaica (New York) are known for. "The
Struggles We Face" is Donnie Darko's personal favorite
on the album. "Its soul music that people can relate
too as well as a perspective of my life," says Darko.
This is definitely a track straight from his heart. DJ
Bless aka Sutter Kain is the Executive Producer of the
album and brings the type of sound he is famous for.
His production, engineering, mixing and mastering
skills definitely stand out on this project. With
production contributions from 6 Sense and Rain the
album is definitely a must have. Never So
Deep/Suicide Kingz Productions is an independent label
that brings a major label sound with this release.

I downloaded this album on some novelty tip as Donnie Darko is one of my favorite movies but the album actually turned out to be dope. I am a long time hip-hop fan too don't get it confused, but bottom line is I was impressed so I ordered the album from this site. Sleep at your own lost. "I roll with the mac like Apple"
