I have been hooked to dcf's style since the first time i heard it. The style is fresh the guitar work is excellent, the drummer is an ass kicker. This cd is not a disappointment buy it today.

"Decafitated" is one of the most well executed albums I have heard in a long time. Alot of new bands seem to put out an album and burn themselves out on a few good tracks and the rest of the album is downhill, this is not the case with Dead Cel Factor. Every song on "decafitated" is beautifully done, heavy, dark and filled with emotion. The fusion of melody with brutality is superb. Joe, vocals, has an excellent voice, utilizing beautiful singing and a strong scream with hints of anger, and tons of feeling. The guitar work is also top notch, eerie work ups, dark, heavy grooves, and slam ass riffs. Everything seems to fuse together as if it were just meant to be. Many times I found myself closing my eyes and just grooving with the chaotic melody, like the calm in the storm. Songs like "push-e," "breathe," and "cut + dry" are a few of my favorites but every track is amazing in its own sense. Something about Dead Cel Factor gives them the air of completeness, making their music dead on the spot, not trying to do something impossible, keeping in on the real and letting it rip. This four piece from Alabama will be going places and will be going places soon, but don't take my word for it check them out yourself, garunteed satisfaction.

Great CD from a great band... What really saddens me though, is that a lot of the record companies today release garbage to the public, while CD's as good as this one go, for the most part, unnoticed. Truly an excellent CD, you'll not be disappointed!
