The new album takes its title from Fernando Pessoa’s poem “Mensagem”. Deeply rooted in the Portuguese tradition and at the same time open to influences from all over the world, this new album shows us that the group has developed a musical language that is original and unique. The elements that first come out of the music by the duo are the obvious connections to their homeland and its music but also traces of Africa and America as heard on “O Assobio (Canção do Avô)” or “Mr. Eastwood”.
Thanks for reviewing this album! You should see it show up on the album page in a few days.
