Album Notes

DEANNA D'AMICO's first Angel Song Records CD, A SONG FOR ME & YOU, was produced by Mandi Martin at the legendary EMG Studios in North Hollywood, California. This CD showcases Deanna's great vocal talents on eleven inspirational, country, country/pop and Christian songs.

Deanna, a native of Hacienda Heights, California was a featured performer on the Tokyo Disneyland stage where she sang and danced as Disney animated heroines "Ariel," "Jasmine" and "Pocahontas." She has also studied with renowned choreographer Joe Tremaine at his dance center in North Hollywood.

Deanna is the recent recipient of the world-reknown Cowboy Palace's "Best New Artist of 2001 Award," winning out over a dozen other finalists, while showcasing her vocal skills on both country standards and original material. Club owner Bob Rustigian remarked as presenting the award, "Deanna is one of the most energetic and crowd-pleasing personas we've been graced with in several years."

Producer Mandi Martin notes, "Deanna is every bit as much 'ear candy' as she is 'eye candy.' We assembled a collection of wonderful songs, as well as veteran studio musicians, for her CD that live up to her voice. Producing this CD was a labor of love for me. Deanna has a real gift and, Lord willing, she will touch many people with her heart and spirit from this point on. I look forward to producing more of her CDs in the future. This project was a true blessing. She's such a treat to watch. Her energy is unbelievable!"
