Wasp in the Grass

by Deccatree

Songs about moving forward in spite of obstacles big or small. Many times metaphorical, the lyrics are loose enough to allow everyone a path into making the songs and their positive conclusions a personal experience.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Wasp In the Grass
Deccatree is:
Chris Karn - Vocals, Guitar
Jesse Nason - Keys, Vocals
Natalia Bolanos - Bass, Vocals
Dicki Fliszar - Drums, Vocals

Recorded by: Kirk Fyvie & Chris Karn at Old Mission Studio
Mixed and Mastered by: Chris Karn

Deccatree is as much a musical union with multiple players as it is a band, a few of the songs have
players that drop in for a verse or chorus and drop out (such as the double drum part on "into the Blacklight"
with Stevie D and Dicki playing at the same time during the chorus). Additional players on this EP are:
Wayne Lothian - Bass
Scott Reeder - Drums
Luke Agajanian - Bass
Stevie D - Drums
They are our good friends and we thank them for their friendship and support.

We would also like to thank all of our friends and family who we hold very close to our souls.

Dicki would also like to thank:
To my endorsers who make such awesome products: DW, Paiste and Vic Firth.
The women in my life, especially Gretchen, Nona and Margit. The family and friends in my life. The great music and fellow musicians in my life.
And: Life itself. Love it.

Chris would like to thank:
My incredible family and wife who have been a blessing, Alyssa "my Rock" and my good friends who are like family to me.
Alex at Fender, Mike and Jason at Vintage King, Mike at Mikworks, and the people of the Gypsy Lounge (I miss you all!)
