Album Notes

Electroception is an exercise in absurdist melodrama. It is at once playful and skillfully indifferent to cliche. Croix blends a myriad of genres as usual, this time leaning more towards guitar-oriented funk and cryptic genre-defying experiments that are challenging and yet quirkily accessible. In fact, Electroception may be Croix's most accessible album to date with enough breadth, melody, and impressionistic art for any bohemian at heart.
