Album Notes

The first single from Houseman’s newest record is now available. ‘Giving it Up’ recorded with Jesse Johnson of The Time is an updated sound that really rocks and you will love it!

‘Houseman in Exile’ was the natural title for his next record considering the circumstances surrounding the Houseman in the early fall of 2005. Once Hurricane Katrina had passed through New Orleans causing the levees to break and flood his hometown, Houseman along with hundreds of thousands of people were stranded with no home and everyone they knew from home was in the same position.

Resolved that the city would never be the same from his standpoint, (look out for French Quarter Disneyland and you’ll know what he means) he settled himself in Chicago and planned for the next chapter of his life.

His instinct to record new music never left him and he soon collaborated with the famous Jesse Johnson and later with other well known, talented musicians. If you haven’t already heard, Houseman in Exile stomps, grooves and leaves you wanting to hear more. Complete CD available soon.
