In the winter of 1999 a group of young people started proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ through song. After hearing the deliverance and healing of God that came through theirvoices, Apostle J.L Newton was lead by the Lord to start an ensemble in the ministry. Under the leadership of Apostle Newton and his extensive training in the art of music, the ensemble has been well trained and seasoned to release their voices. Through much prayer and consecration, the Lord gave the ensemble the name DECREE which means to declare the word with force. The name itself describes the anointing that is revealed when this group of young people prophetically sing. DECREE has had numerous engagements in the country. Many lives have been changed, bodies have been healed and souls have been saved all because ofthe anointing that is released out of these vessels.

The purpose of DECREE is to express the sovereignty and deity of God and the glory that he receives when anointed voices are declaring a unified sound of authority,deliverance and adoration. This sound is meant to liberate captives from their bondages and open the air ways for a processional of the King of Glory to come in.
