Who is Dee Girard? Dee Girard is a musician from Erie,PA. The same small town that brought you Pat Monahan and Train! Erie is such a strange place to grow up in...a strange and wonderful place to live...but...The name Erie...It is exactly that EEREIE! Because it is such a strange town there are alot of strange and unusual characters here. Dee Girard is one of them. Dee did the local music scene for years playing drums in one band then guitar in another...getting nowhere...getting bored...Then one day Dee said to himself. "Self...you should make your own music...then you could play it and sound just like the original artist...you!" He heard a chorus of angels sing and saw a bright light and a deep voice from heaven saying "It shall be so!". So that's exactly what Dee did. He took time each day to write and record 10 songs and titled it appropriately "Waiting On The Gods". He wrote all the tunes,lyrics,solos,did all the recording,played all the instruments (even the tambourine!), Did all the vocals,mixed it and had it mastered and it only took 3 years! This recording is one mans vision. Taken from day to day life. Dee doesn't expect anything from it either, no recognition,no thanks,no fortune,no fame,he doesn't want to be in the scene or part of the industry machine that ruins the music...he only wants to continue to create music and get better and better. He would give it away too. For free. He just needs to keep his head above the water like all of you.
