"DeeJazz" aka, Dolores J. Jackson has been named the "Queen of New Thought Music." She blends Jazz, Soul and Spirited music with inspirational lyrics to create what she calls, "Divine Jazz" hence the name "DeeJazz." It's a sound so unique and exciting it's guaranteed to uplift your heart and soothe your soul! Dolores has been writing music for over two decades but suffered for nearly 30 years with social anxiety. Through her faith and perseverance she has been victorious and is "a living example" of overcoming. Now through her music and her life she is working to help others overcome.
Her accomplishments include:
* At the invitation of Dr. Maya Angelou, DeeJazz sang one of her original compositions at Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar in New York City. Dr. Angelou gave praise saying her performance was “unique and impressive.”
* Composed, arranged and produced her 14-song CD "A Musical Messenger".
* Two musical scores aired nationwide on an ABC-TV documentary, "Heroes, A Triumph of Spirit" featuring the life of the famous neurosurgeon, Ben Carson.
* Her first single "A Living Example" rated in the top-10 on the mp3.com Jazz Vocal charts.
* She's a favorite at several North Carolina Unity Churches, and has performed on local and national TV.
Growing up in Detroit Michigan during the glorious Motown era, Dolores began writing poetry and music at a very young age. Naturally gifted, with little formal training, she continues to compose and produce all of her songs by ear. In 1998 she moved to North Carolina in pursuit of her dream. When asked why she chose North Carolina? She says, "It was Spiritual guidance." Since then she has started her own music production company, has been the music director of a Unity Church, and just released the highly anticipated CD "A Musical Messenger". Her goals include: gaining global distribution, writing for other artists and, of course, winning several Grammys.

Motivating and Inspiring to Many
author: Rich SouthersThis CD is a motivator for even the most apathetic of us. I brought 10 copies and gave them to my friends. One friend was so impressed she brought 25 copies to give to her friends. If word of mouth is the best advertisement for a product, then this CD should do very well.
The most unique and original sound I've heard in a very long time

With DeeJazz's A Musical Messenger there is something beautiful in each track.
