At the early age of seven, Dee Jones began shining God's Light through song. Her uncle's singing group, Cliff Mason and The Gospel Truths, recruited her as their youngest member. Traveling with a singing family, community choirs, singing competitions and appearances on the Christian Broadcasting Network, ABC-Family Network and local television has prepared Dee for her calling in music ministry.
Dee Jones is founder and president of Dee Jones Ministries, Inc. Her company was formed for the sole purpose of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and evangelism. Dee ministers in religious and secular venues. She has appeared with numerous gospel greats such as Andre Crouch, Larnelle Harris, and Alvin Slaughter to name a few. During the 1994 Young Messiah Tour, Dee accompanied renowned artists Ralph Carmichael, Sandi Patty, Babbie Mason, Point of Grace, Ron Kenoly, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and numerous others. Her varied music style has graced the Washington National Cathedral, the Lyric Opera House, Ripken Stadium and the
St. Andrew Cathedral in Hawaii. Dee performed internationally with the award-winning VA-National Medical Musical Group as a featured artist and choral vocalist.
Dee's ministry also includes public speaking at seminars and conferences. Through her experiences as a wife, mother, nurse, author and college professor; Dee shares from her heart how God uses her failures and triumphs for His glory. Topics include "Healing Through Music", "Journaling From My Heart To God", "Journaling Through Grief" and others. No matter what the venue, Dee is ready to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. She states, "there is no greater joy than living for God and spreading the gospel through music and ministry.
Dee resides in Maryland with her devoted husband of 26 years, and has been blessed with 3 adult children and one grandson. Dee Jones is devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family and her ministry for which she has been called.
Dee produced her debut album entitled "Light Your World" which was nominated the 2004 Gospel CD of the Year by Unity Productions of New York and 2007 Female Vocalist of the Year by Newsome Productions. Her album continues to bless hearts all over the world including Japan, the United Kingdom and Africa. She wrote and composed the highly anticipated "Nurses' Anthem", which is available now! Her music speaks to your soul with a variation of spiritual, patriotic and upbeat melodies. Dee Jones delivers a message of hope, love and encouragement as she sings from her heart.
