ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This collection of songs was lost for a decade, thought to have been wiped form the original reel to reel recording it was found in a pile of old recordings during a clear-out of the studio’s old equipment.
Although newly re-mastered, it's raw state (no drums, no overdubbing, no keyboards) is testament of Dee's song-writing talent and the musicianship of Mark Lyttle and Ernie McMillen who joined him to make this recording.
Unbelievably another 15 songs that were recorded at the same sessions are still unaccounted for.
After being presented with a master cassette recording of the sessions, the studio engineer thought he had wiped the original reels when they disappeared back in 1999, only to discover in 2009 that that was not the case.
Dee, Mark and Ernie all worked together in the famous Lowden guitar company. Since then Dee has went on to become one of the world’s best know guitar makers in his own right. McIlroy Guitars are played by some of the world’s finest musicians.
