Since 1998, The Deep Roots Music Project in Portland, Oregon has helped young writers and local musicians collaborate to create and record original songs and music CDs. Teen writers pen the lyrics. Some of the very best musicians from Portland's storied music scene perform the songs.

This is the 11th annual CD from Oregon's Reynolds High School. Standout musicians such as Breanna Paletta, Farcry, The Mediam, Ezekiel Goodrick, Climber, Why We Fear Fiction, and many others contribute songs.

All sales proceeds go directly to the Deep Roots Music Project and helps students and volunteer musicians create more collaborative music.
