Take note of several great things about this CD (and the other Deep Roots compilations): a variety of artists, music styles and lyrical topics; LOTS of songs; a peek into the poetic minds of high-schoolers. Listening to songs written and sung by so many different people is like making lots of new friends all at once. I'll definitely be keeping track of the Deep Roots Project from here on out.
