Deep Singh, disciple of Ustad Alla Rakha since the age of seven, was born in London England and lives in NYC. As a child prodigy at the age of seven, Singh was interviewed for the BBC1 TV and Radio. Singh’s professional career began at the age of nine performing at prestigious venues such at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Throughout his career he has accompanied the finest musicians from India and Pakistan. Singh performed as on stage percussionist in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Broadway production ‘Bombay Dreams’ with A.R. Rahman’s music. In 2005, Singh opened for the Reggaeton event at Madison Square Garden and for Levon Helm’s ‘The Midnight Ramble’. Singh produced two DEVO cover songs with Indian instrumentation.
