Greetings!
We are the Deepsleep Narcotics Co. We are a digital/analog trip hop trio based in Seattle WA. Our music has been compared to groups as disparate as the Residents, Massive Attack and Soul Coughing, although our sound is quite unlike any of these groups. All of our music has a narrative element to it. Sometimes there is spoken word, and sometimes the story is told with soundscapes, but the listener is always taken on a journey.

Deepsleep are master groove-smiths. If Rise Up doesn't give your nipples a lift, then you probably need to listen while standing closer to an air conditioner.
Recently I heard from credible sources, that after listening to Junky, Laura Bush immediately joined the DC chapter of the 420 club.
Invisible Planets has a timeless jazzy backbeat mixed with inspired synthetic poetry.
Overall, extremely creative new sound. This is a fantastic first album from Seattle's next revolutionary alternative Jazz-mo-hiptronic band.
