Album Notes

D.E.E.P. has established herself as a nationally-known author and poet. She was a member of the 2004 Collegiate Poetry Slam Team for the University of Michigan, a member of the 2007 Houston and the 2008 H-town National Poetry Slam teams. She was crowned the Cafe Nuba Slam Champion of Denver, CO and has been featured as opening acts for such artists as Amiri Baraka, John Legend, Slum Village, Def Poet Sunni Patterson. Regie Gibson, and many more.

As a singer, she been able to embrace the road as a touring member of the nationally-known Michigan Gospel Chorale. This California native spends her time travelling all over the world spreading love, poetry, and soul to her audiences.

Her debut album combines her love for music with her powerful wordplay and serve as a fresh revelation for all those with an open ear to listen.
