Album Notes

The Dee Stone Band first stomped onto the Washington, DC music scene in 1996. The original lineup was singer/songwriter Dee Stone with Charles Wright on guitar, Chuck Carter on bass, and Sean Peck on drums. They had minor success in the mid/late 90's, but went their separate ways. Well, you know what they say, some things are just meant to be, and it seems the world has yet to hear the end of this story. The current incarnation, sans Sean Peck, features Nick Costa on drums. Nick's style is an interesting addition to the band's sound, driven by Dee's powerful vocals, Charles' mind-blowing guitar work, and Chuck's growling bass.

Based in northern Virginia, the Dee Stone Band delivers great songs with solid vocals and big, crunchy grooves. Combining funk, progressive rock, and jazz, their music is melodic, intelligent, and full of fire.

Their new ep, "Square One", is a multi-genre journey that flaunts stellar songwriting, exceptional musicianship, and an exciting musical chemistry that draws you in. Feel the love!
