ALI DEE, the creative force behind the New York music house DEETOWN, has been the name to drop when it comes to artists making music for film and tv. Before he set up his own shop and started writing and producing songs for hundreds of Hollywood's biggest hit films and shows - from Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle to the American Pie franchise - Ali made his living as a much in-demand writer and producer for high profile music acts.

Ali has written or produced for premiere artists such as Miley Cyrus, Mary J Blige, Natalie Embruglia, Shakira, Rev Run (from RUN DMC), Busta Rhymes and Natasha Beningfield.


But it is his love for creating music and film that spurred Ali to launch DeeTown, the MoTown of music-for-film & tv Enter the studio on any given day and you'll find artists like rapper Classic and pop rocker Dara Schindler tracking vocals and laying down riffs. Under Ali's careful guidance, the music comes together and the result is an unprecedented run of thousands of film and television placements in huge studio franchises.
