Definite Spaces is a trio from San Francisco created by former members of Parting Glance in early 2007. Influenced by Indie pop/rock music, the band's melodic male vocals blended with rhythmic guitar, bass and drums can be compared to other groups like Sunday's Best, Bloc Party and Death Cab for Cutie.
Definite Spaces has recently finished recording its debut EP titled Patterns That Matter (Last Dance Records), a five song CD showcasing both upbeat and mellow sides of the melodic indie rock. Definite Spaces has played around San Francisco including the Make-Out Room with the likes of Sentinel, If Ever and others. Their live shows can be characterized as both fun and energetic.
Definite Spaces is planning a CD release party in the Spring of '09, a Summer tour and hopes to release its debut album featuring all new tracks late next year. Be sure to keep an eye on these boys as they are just getting started.
