notes

From music on MTV shows to performing live on TRL, The Defog has been a busy band. More so, it is important to know that they are out in this music industry to please only themselves and their loyal fans. Their fans consist of razor sharp people that cut the heart out of the Lindsey Lohan's of the world. In fact, it's a world that dabbles in pretty much making fun of the rest of the world on a regular basis. It's about the readiness to criticize yourself, your brother, his brother, and anyone that comes into view. It's fun. Their music is passionate and caring and all the things that they wish they could be as people, but it is trapped inside their music. So these hollow shells of people continue to perform and write to provide an outlet for their emotions and lives. It is real. So listen until you get it.

  • OPEN YOUR WINDOWS...the music will fill your room
    author: Grape APe

Quite possibly the best new artist since RAdiohead hit the scene in the early 90's. Listen to the lyrics to take you back to childhood and the music will let you relax and focus on what is important in your life, whatever that may be at the time. I hope you enjoy this album as much as i do

  • The WMD of current music
    author: Argento

I'll be honest...as if i am not normally, but this CD is UNBELIEVABLY Great in every sense of the comment...if you have a kick butt stereo, just listen for all those unique sounds cause they will settle on your soul and bust through your face, with a smile of complete happiness. Nostalgic music for the TWIXTER generation

  • Decisive music with insightful lyrics while forming an embryonic niche
    author: Christopher

Even bodied sound while pushing each player's unique style into the listeners ears. A CD to digest and embrace on car trips or hot dates.

I stumbled upon this group on cdbaby somehow. ...dying for more. If anyone in the band is reading: keep doing it.

  • thoughtful new sound
    author: Johanna Lynne

A totally original sound coming from a handful of influences-a thoughtful, new music stearing clear of the poppy mishaps being commercialized today. Well worth the buy.

  • author: Kevin Smith

All things considered, this is a pretty out-there release for a first release. But these guys really seem to know what they're doing though when it comes to making some really interesting songs and sounds. They pull it off quite well.
