ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album was created by two individuals...

Dustin Case aka Dust-D:

Californian to the heart. Passion for music hit him at a young age. The fusion of various genres came head strong growing up between the streets of Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

A style encouraged by the influence of rap, rock, soul, oldies, ska, punk, classical and grunge to name a few. Well thought out and well traveled. He has been around the world, has been featured on some well known artists releases such as Mondo Marcio under Virgin Italy (code name "Spoon" on Mondos b-side) Associated with founding members of Los Angeles' infamous COLA Crew.

Always expanding and always listening. With the experience of the two most influential genres of his time virtually mastered, (rock and hip hop) he has made the initial step into becoming a name that will eventually linger.

"Music should be free. People nowadays are focused too much on making money or their pretty face. It should be done for the love and understanding of the lost language; positive but real. They should be concentrating on making the music speak. Then it's powerful."

K-Chil:

When it comes to creativity, K-Chil has got it locked in a humble, yet ill manner.

His musical style has evolved from the late great 70's funk/soul and 80's street beats.

Combined with a skill for engineering and writing he makes his way to be one of the masterminds behind many musical compositions.

Currently producing, engineering and songwriting for "Operation Music Productions, Chil utilizes his background in music to make present moves. From grade school up until now, he has been musically engaged from playing multiple instruments, singing in choirs, getting a degree from Hollywood School of Music and educating himself along the way.

Chil is sure to set the pace for a new time in music. While remaining humble, he has an expansive catalog of musical minds he's collaborated with and the list is only growing.

"The result of a collaboration can be a compelling recording, which can lead to a record that's sure to be played time and time again"

That's what K-Chil strives for "LONGEVITY". So here's a twist off the tail end of "Operation Music's Vol 1". A musical roller coaster that you can roll and unwind to with your favorite relaxing utensil's...

"but don't burn the house down...... The D.A. won't take the blame"
