notes
This second CD of the short yet viable former elementary school teacher includes tales of the ex's new love (gorgeous and accomplished) star-crossed lovers (what's a gal with a Trent Lott poster to do with a guy who wears Birkenstocks?), 1-900 numbers for responding to that first date (featuring Eric Schwartz!) way cool nuns, and lots of Aaron Spelling references.
Recalling the wacky-pack mode of “not knowing what you've bought til you've ripped open the cover," this CD is actually one of FOUR CDs. The song Jenny of 100 Dates has four different endings. Jenny finds her true love on her hundredth date- is it the Conservative Republican? The Country Mormon? The Washed up Rink Guard from her Local Rollerama?? Someone unexpected? You'll just have to find out. Collect all four!

Then Again
author: LaneyAgain Ms. Flint delivers some unique music. This album was almost as much fun as the first one. Caroline Back to Me was a song that touches the heart strings just like Shuffleboard Queens did from the fist album
THEN AGAIN

Then Again - Deirdre Flint
author: Pam SykesLoved, loved, loved it! Listen every day in the car. Does Deirdre tour in Cleveland? Oh, and the service at CD Baby is G-R-E-A-T!!!
As clever and timely as Shuffleboard Queens
author: JennI have Shuffleboard Queens memorized from beginning to end and I'm sure I'll have Then Again memorized as well. It's so insightful for women "our age".
Too, too funny!
author: Sue-NHThis young woman has a gift for song and comedic timing and delivery that rivals the biggest names you could think of. If you want a rip-roaring, eye-watering, belly ache of a laugh at life, let Deirdre share her take on life's "real" moments with you. A great CD.
Then again, you'll love this one!
author: tgjadAnyone who likes folk and pop mixed in with a little bit of jazzy undertones would like this one. Great mix of funny and sentimental songs. Grandmas House brought back a lot of near-forgotten memories. Thanks for the memories and the laughs...
Poetry!
author: DawnFunny, smart and great music! I became hooked on Deidre Flint when I heard the Cheerleader song on Shuffleboard Queen. Flint is reliably witty and poetic in Then Again. Her CDs make GREAT presents -- everybody who hears her, loves her!
funny sad and wonderful
author: Margot, U.K.Loved it! My daughter introduced me to Deirdre with SHUFFLEBOARD QUEENS and we're now hooked. She really knows herself and the world but she's funny with it. And very talented. Did Sister Catherine Claire really exist is what we long to know?
I could relate to almost all of her songs. Wonderful songwriting!
author: JulieI heard Deirdre for the first time on a radio talk show and she played the Food song. I was hooked and had to find her CD! I have enjoyed the CD so much and can relate to growing up in the 70's, being abandoned by my best friend, the heartache of seeing your grandmother grow old (now my mother), and being in love with FOOD! Her songwriting is wonderful...I adore her sense of humor and her heart. I'm going to have to get her other CD's!
Dierdre Does It Again
author: Pam SpielmanSongs on this CD touched my heart. Food and Grandma's House made me go from laughing to crying in a matter of minutes.
Another goodie from Dierdre
author: FaberI can't decide if I like this CD or her first CD better so it would behoove you to get both. :-). This CD has fewer laughs than the first ("1-900-Score-A-Date", "Jenny of 100 Dates") but it tugs at the heart more ("Caroline Back To Me", "Like Me"). Musically it seems more mature, but vocally she isn't as expansive (one of the things I like most about the first CD is the different voices she uses throughout). Overall, a great buy. I can't wait for a third CD and to see her in concert.
Excellent Album -- Deidre does it again!!
author: Laura E.Excellent.... had me laughing the whole time! Deidre's first CD "Shuffleboard queens" was hilarious, and her latest "Then Again" follows the trend. She has become a better vocalist and musician for this album and added a softer, deeper emotional touch to some of the tracks. Of course, the same Quarky humar permeates the music.. making the Album a must have for weird occassions or some self-deficating laughter... Thanks Deirdre.. keep em coming!!
