Delilah Clark, a former Blues singer, is a singer/songwriter/guitarist of Christian pop/rock/alternative music. Her lyrical compositions are a testimony of her life's journey, traveling initially as a Bostonian Catholic wild child, and blossoming into a child of God.
As a young woman in a rock n' roll band, she lived the life of a party girl. After many years, she finally surrendered to God and was saved in 1986. When her fervent adoration for Jesus intensified, she tried to join a convent in 1989 but was turned away because the Priest said she wasn't ready. Sadly disappointed, Delilah joined a Blues band and went back into her wayward lifestyle which led her to Nashville, Tennessee. It was there that she learned about the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and about being delivered from spiritual bondages such as depression. She rededicated her life to Jesus and started writing Christian music.
Now, over a decade later, she is presenting her debut CD, Wildly Innocent, the many songs that she wrote in Nashville, as a way of sharing the things she has learned about life, in the hopes that she can help others who have struggled with rejection, abuse, alcoholism, drug addiction, and fornication.
