Why do I love singing, playing, and writing?
It’s all about my life’s passion – making a difference; connecting with God and people through music. We all share hurt and joy. Music can uniquely connect us, allowing us to laugh and cry together. Knowing we are not alone in this world gives peace and hope. I am amazed when someone, often a stranger, thanks us for a particular song that comforts them or renews their joy for living. This is a humble reminder it is not about me. I don’t understand why God graciously allows me to share love in this way, but I am so thankful and embrace it with great anticipation and joy. I look forward to having fun with you “on the front porch” soon!

Great CD!

Being the co-host of the #1 morning radio show in Nashville, TN means I get a lot of CD’s sent to me by people hoping to get a big break. Most of them are really bad, some of them are good, and a few of them are the gems that you want to hear.
I was pleasantly surprised to hear a gem coming out of the speakers when I put Kimberly Dellinger’s Goodbye Yesterday in my CD player. Kimberly’s voice reminds me of the unique and mesmerizing tones of the vocalist for the Cranberries. Listening to the songs is like sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee and a close friend as the morning sun warms the earth. You just know it’s going to be a great day. This is a great CD.
