This cd opens with a little funky guitar, traditional folk instruments and a great voice. Kim's voice has become a great tool for communicating the beauty of her songs. Now you don't focus on who else she might sound like but rather what a great instrument her voice has become. Awsome!

This disc helped me retain my sanity. From the 1st track (which kicked my butt and got me writing, got me into the gym, got me up every morning) to the last. My favorite tho, is Little Wings. :) She manages to key into real emotions and turn them into songs that are far from trite or overdone. The guest appearances from Jabe Beyer and Lori McKenna are great. I love, I love, I love...

I think that the thing that makes me happiest about this album is that I feel that traditional music is still alive and well. Someone still cares about writing and singing music, and that we don't have to depend on what we hear on radios these days. Thanks, Kris!
