The band is a nationally touring, six piece high energy World Funk ensemble based out of Long Beach, California whom has been committed to the evolution of popular music since its inception in 1999. Continually creating music which emphasizes impactful lyrical delivery and rhythmic design which encourages crowed movement and participation has been the group's mission.
Their diversity is also apparent in the artists of whom they have shared the stage with. Including world-renowned artists such as Poncho Sanchez, Burning Spear, Olodum, Gato Barbieri, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Steve Kimock Band, Merl Saunders, King Sunny Ade, Ozomatli, and Karl Denson are among those who have added their unique talents and influence to the group's on-stage performance. In addition, members of Delta Nove have performed with great artists such as Carlos Santana, members of the Grateful Dead, Bruce Hornsby, Bobby Caldwell, Los Lobos, Roy Hargrove, members of Parliment/Funkadelic, members of The String Cheese Incident, Fishbone, and champion Brazilian Samba school Mangueira.
From Los Angeles to New York, the band's unique style entertains, educates and energizes audiences.
