Album Notes

Delta-S combines the art of storytelling with heartfelt symphonies of sound. The result is a beautiful palette of emotions, portraying the essence of the human soul with disarming accuracy. Somewhere in this ongoing tale, creators strive to connect with their fan-base, finding a common ground of hurt, hope, and healing. While the sound of Delta-S often resembles pieces of trance and neo-industrial genres, the project still allows (and even welcomes) other styles into the mix. Newcomers are quickly seduced by its surprising flexibility. Still, Devout fans will argue that Delta-S has its own sound. Clever synth phrases and luscious progressions give the band a rich and energetic sound, even during its dark ambient mood swings. The glue solidifying the sounds is found in Lyte's haunting vocals. Whether the tone is agressive or refreshing, Lyte delivers every word with conviction and resolve. Listeners will surely find comfort in the lyrical melodies of the music. Delta-S began as an experiment in industrial by artists Lyte and Moe. Sharing an ever growing love of music and its possibilities, the two worked late hours creating soundscapes and effects. With influences like Nine Inch Nails, Stabbing Westward, and God Lives Under Water, the group focused their energies into hard and edgy songs. Now Delta-S is continued by Lyte as a solo project, and the influences have obviously expanded. The project has truly developed into a rich, sophisticated sound that continues to draw in listeners. And here is where we see the very purpose of music being fulfilled.

A Soundtrack of Pure Art
author: Dylan
I've always been a rocker. I love KoRn, Slipknot, and really hard stuff. About a year ago, I was starting to listen to a bit of Electronic music. When I came across the Delta-S myspace page I listened to a few of the songs, and I liked it to an extent. I needed some new music so I ordered their one album out at the time: Chasm. Little did I know, none of the songs on their myspace are on this cd. When I got the cd by mail I popped it into the cd player as fast as I could. I was mezmorized. The upbeat Catacombs impressed me the most. Then I got into the second track. After a while of listening to it, I noticed how relaxed and at ease I was while listening to this piece. I could do my homework or some household chores or simply relax while listening to this cd. I can promise you, you won't have one favorite song for long. There is such a variety here. From the upbeat Catacombs, Vixxxen, and Toxica to the sweet instrumental The Spoil Plantation, there is something for everybody. You can't just listen to one song. The entire album flows together. It's truly a masterpiece.
