The emotion and depth needed to create music that touches the soul, and speaks to the heart can clearly be heard in the music of Michael DeMontagnes.
Through Michael's own experiences in love and life come songs that the listener can relate to. Whether they are songs of heartache, passion, or a blend of both; Michael sets the mood.
Michael's music interest was evident at an early age, but it wasn't until his senior year of high school that he started to show promise by placing first in the Pennsylvania Music Educator's Associations 1992 State Championship. He was also accepted into the Mansfield University's of Music program. Afterwards, Michael left the music scene only to resurface in March of 2002.
With nothing more than the desire and determination to achieve his life's long dream of becoming a top-notch recording artist and songwriter, Michael began his promotional CD with the help of a Grammy Award winning studio. There with his producer, Dave Gerhart, they continue to create some of today's most memorable music.
Michael has been compared to some of today's most talented vocalists such as: Chris Isaak, Josh Groban, and Chris Deburgh. Blending heartfelt words and moody melodies with skillfull arrangements, the music takes you back into your own memories. Michael's music has also touched many fans around the world; from New York, Texas, and Australia. With music like this we'll be hearing much more from this unique and talented vocalist. Enjoy!
