Looking Forward Looking Back is a second CD, a collection of tunes that tell a short story. It's an EP of the music I call Urban Folk and Jazz, tho' it's got R&B roots too. It's everything I love, groove, chord progressions, and lyrics about what I know. It is the story of my return to NY City, some looks at love and the life of a musician - well... me. I wrote all of the songs and I love that they don't sound alike - it's a bit of a journey. The thread of course being my voice and my guitar style. What I hope for is that my music will move you when you happen upon a similar mood. I was moved throughout my childhood by many artists, and looking back, those are my fondest memories. So, I write and produce music and release it. This is the latest release, produced by up and coming producer Donny Black, who played keys in the band for many years. Donny does a nice job of staying understated but with lush orchestration. I have many more songs CDs and adventures coming - so I am Looking Forward, always. I look forward to sharing my music with new audiences.
